How do you do Cable Curl?

Set a straight bar on the low pulley, take it with an underhand grip about shoulder width and step back until the cable is tight, arms straight. Curl the bar up towards the shoulders by bending the elbows only, upper arms at your sides. Squeeze the biceps at the top for a second. Lower slowly to straight arms; the cable keeps tension the whole way, so don't rush the bottom.
