Apps that track workouts and food together

Most fitness apps do one thing well. Training apps log your sets; food apps log your meals. If you want both, you usually end up with two apps, two subscriptions and no connection between them.

This page lists which well-known apps keep training and food in one place, and which do not. Every claim comes from the company’s own website, checked on 25 September 2026, with links so you can verify it yourself.

The short answer

App Training log Food log One coach reading both
Flawless Yes — sets, reps, weight, muscles per exercise Yes — barcode, photo, text, voice Yes, in PRO
MyFitnessPal Basic exercise tracking, not a set-by-set log Yes, food first Not advertised
MacroFactor Separate workout app, sold as a bundle Yes Not advertised
Hevy Yes No —
Strong Yes No —
Fitbod Yes, with generated workouts No —

“Not advertised” means the app does not present it on its own site, not that it could never do it. Checked on 25 September 2026 on myfitnesspal.com, macrofactor.com, hevyapp.com, strong.app and fitbod.me. Prices are left out on purpose: they differ by country and change. 02

What “together” actually gets you

Keeping both logs in one app is not about saving a home-screen icon. It changes what the app can tell you.

One number for the day

Calories in and training done sit on the same screen, so the day has one score instead of two dashboards that never meet.

Muscles and meals in one place

Every exercise shows which muscles it works, and the recovery map shows what is ready to train again. Your protein for the day is right next to it.

A coach that reads both

With two apps, the connection between what you ate and how you trained is your job. In Flawless PRO the AI coach reads training and food together and tells you what to change this week, for example that protein slips on leg days.

03

When two apps are the better choice

Honestly, sometimes. If you want an app that writes every workout for you and adapts it session by session, Fitbod is built for that. If the social feed matters to you, Hevy has it. Pair either with a food app and you get both halves, at the cost of two subscriptions and no shared view.

Flawless is for people who want to log and understand their own training and food in one place: templates and an AI coach are there, but you stay in charge of the plan.
