Roadmap

What we're working on and what's queued behind it. Flawless is built by a very small team, so the honest version of a roadmap is a short one — everything here is something we actually intend to ship.

Last updated: August 26, 2026  ·  Shipped so far: changelog

No dates on this page, on purpose. Priorities move when we learn something, and a date we'd have to walk back is worse than no date at all. Order roughly reflects what gets built first.

Just shipped in the latest version

Fit the workout into the time you have

The logger works out how long today’s session will take — from your sets, reps and the rest each set needs — and one tap trims it to the 30 or 45 minutes you actually have. It cuts accessory sets from the bottom and leaves the heavy work alone; warm-ups and anything you have already ticked off are never touched. The estimate also learns from how long your sessions really run. Seeing the estimate is free, having the app trim the session is PRO.

Suggested loads read your last set

If you finished a set with three reps still in reserve, the app now adds weight instead of asking for one more repetition. Near your limit it does the opposite and only adds reps. A set taken to failure is never overwritten — the same load comes back until it stops being failure.

Where the numbers come from

Every formula the app uses to set your calories, macros, protein and hydration is now written out inside the app, with the study or guideline behind it. Two of them turned out not to match the source we had in mind, and are described as our own convention instead. Our hydration formula is ours — we say so rather than dressing it up as research.

Add several exercises at once, and save any food

Picking exercises no longer means opening the list once per exercise. And a food you found by search or scanned can be saved to My Foods — until now only ones you typed in by hand could be.

Ranks, and things light mode was hiding

One long set could push an exercise rank to the top, because the one-rep-max estimate accepted 40 repetitions as if the formula still worked there. Ranks recalculate from your history, so yours may come down — that is the honest number. In light mode the loading placeholders, the handle on AI sheets and the button that adds food to a meal were being drawn white on white.

Next up decided, not started

iOS

Asked for often, and no longer hypothetical: the app is built, signed and running on real iPhones. What is left is Apple's review, and we are not going to put a date on someone else's queue.

Daily scores instead of reports

The progress and nutrition reports already calculate everything they need — they're just presented as documents you read once. They're becoming scores that move every day, with a written explanation of exactly how each one is calculated. No black boxes.

Following people you actually know

Seeing what your training partner lifted this week is useful the moment there are two of you. That comes before any kind of public feed — an empty feed helps nobody.

The same explanations, out here

The formulas and sources now live inside the app. They should be readable without installing anything — and cover every score and metric, not just the nine we started with.

Later wanted, but not yet

A community side to the app

Shared recipes, training templates you can copy, and following people whose work you rate. The app has two sides — what you do, and what everyone else is doing — and only one of them exists today. This is the biggest thing on this page and the one we are most careful about: a social feed built too early is an empty room, and an empty room is worse than no room. It arrives when there are enough people that opening it is worth your time.

Logging without a signal

Gym basements do not have reception. The app already loads offline; what it cannot do yet is save a set you logged while disconnected and sync it when you are back. Until that works, offline is only half a promise.

Health Connect

Reading steps, heart rate and sleep from your watch or phone. It needs separate approval from Google and only helps people who own a wearable, so it waits until the basics are excellent.

Tablet and landscape layout

The app is portrait-only today, and honestly it should be until the phone layout is finished.

A watch app

Logging a set from your wrist. Real work, and it only makes sense after Health Connect.

Something missing?

Feature requests and bug reports both go to support@getflawless.app, or straight from the app under Profile → Report a bug. We read all of them, and this page is where the accepted ones show up.
