Compare your strength with friends
Flawless gives every exercise you log a rank, from Bronze to Painite, and shows where the friends you follow are on the same lift. It turns “how much do you bench?” into something you can check.
Ranks, friends’ ranks and share cards are free.
Seven ranks on every exercise
Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Obsidian, Painite. Every exercise you log has its own rank, so your squat can be Gold while your bench is still Silver. Painite is named after the rarest mineral on Earth.
Big barbell lifts are ranked by your estimated one-rep max against your bodyweight, with limits set for each lift from public strength standards. Bodyweight moves are ranked by reps in one set, and everything else by the total volume, sets or time you put in. The rank is recalculated from your history after every workout, and a rank up gets its own moment when you finish.
See where your friends are
Open the ladder of any exercise and, under it, you see the rank of the people you follow for that same exercise. Only friends, never the whole community, and only people who chose to show their ranks.
Your community profile shows your three most valuable ranks. You decide whether it is public; without a public profile you can look around, but not post, comment or appear to others.
Share one lift
Every rank can become a card: the badge, the rank name, the exercise and your best lift. Send it to a friend or post it, then let them find out their own rank.
Check your rank without the app
The strength rank calculator uses the same formula and limits. A bench press of 1.2× your bodyweight is Gold; see where your squat, deadlift, pull-ups or push-ups land.
Questions
Is there an app to compare lifts with friends?
Yes. In Flawless every exercise has a rank from Bronze to Painite, and the ladder for each exercise shows the ranks of the friends you follow. The workout log and the ranks are free on iPhone and Android.
How are the ranks calculated?
Barbell lifts: estimated one-rep max (Brzycki formula, reps capped at 12) divided by your bodyweight, with separate limits for each lift based on Strength Level’s standards. Bodyweight exercises: most reps in one set. Other exercises: total volume, sets or time.
Can other people see my ranks?
Only if you create a public community profile and choose to show them. Then your three most valuable ranks are visible, and friends who follow you see your rank on each exercise’s ladder.
Are ranks free?
Yes. Ranks, the rank ladder, friends’ ranks and share cards are part of the free app.
