How do you do Band Lateral Raise?

Stand on the band or anchor it low, hold the end in the hand further from the anchor so it runs across the body, elbow slightly bent. Raise the arm out to the side until the upper arm is horizontal, leading with the elbow. Stop at shoulder height and pause for a second. Lower slowly against the band, do all reps, then switch sides.
